This museum owes its existence to the initiative of Stavros Karabatzakis, who has been collecting in the traditional cafe of the village dozens of objects that fell out of use due to the rapid technological developments and industrialization. All this has been gathered over the course of many years and since 2001 they have been exhibited in the two-story building of the old tobacco agency. Here everyone can get acquainted with the traditional life of the rural and semi-urban people of Xanthi.
