The museum entrance is made of two types of limestone,  created to impress the visitor giving the feeling of entering a real cave. Even more impressive than its entrance, is the interior of the museum where over 80 species of animals of the area are stuffed.

You will also be able to experience exhibits related to flora and rocks. The museum was created by the Xanthi Forestry Foundation and is located in the former forest nursery, across from the Muslim Cemetery. Tel. 25410 21212.
